AudioWarrior Bryan 'Brain' Mantia Drum Rack Builder Reason ReFill.

The AudioWarrior Brain Reason ReFill drum track builder was programmed for Reason 3.0 by Greg Giametta. Bryan "Brain" Mantia toured extensively with Primus and played on The Brown Album, Rhinoplasty, and Anti-Pop. Axl Rose invited Mantia to join his overhauled version of Guns N' Roses (at the insistence of Buckethead, who was brought onboard as Slash's replacement). Mantia appeared with the group throughout sporadic live dates in 2001 (the Rock in Rio II Festival) and 2002 (the MTV Video Music Awards), while continuing to lay down tracks for the Guns N' Roses studio release, Chinese Democracy.Brain's Rex2 stereo drum files are quite possibly the most accurate, flexible, best-sounding drum samples and loops you may ever experience. You'll be able to create complete professional sounding drum tracks for songs and have access to 1 GB of intros, loops, grooves, fills, and outros of many styles, variations, and BPMs from 50-160. Any 2 or 4 bar Rex2 of any BPM can be interchanged with any other creating a virtual infinite number of possibilities. Each Rex2 imported by Dr.Rex has an exact corresponding MIDI file of the same name in the same name BPM folder. When using Reason in ReWire mode with another sequencer, there is a 2 folder team that makes this work: a BrainRex2 folder and a corresponding Brain MIDI folder. The work flow is so easy in the AudioWarrior Bryan 'Brain' Manta Drum Rack sound library. Just audition the beat in Dr.Rex, and if you want to keep it you can click "To Track" to create the MIDI file, or you can import the MIDI file into a sequencer track from the ReFill. Additionally, the MIDI files are provided outside of the ReFill if you decide you'd like to use Reason in ReWire mode in your preferred sequencer. Then the work flow would be just about the same except that you would import the Brain MIDI into your preferred sequencer's track and set that track's output to Reason, which would have the Brain Rex file loaded into Dr.Rex.. ...details

AudioWarrior The Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ Reason Refill.

AudioWarriors' Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Organ Reason Refill includes sounds are based on "The Mighty Wurlitzer" theatre organ, which was originally designed by Robert Hope-Jones, as a "one man orchestra" to accompany silent movies. In all, Wurlitzer built over 2,200 pipe organs (and indeed more theatre organs than the rest of the theatre organ manufacturers combined); The largest one originally built was the 4/58 instrument at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The Music Hall instrument is actually a concert instrument, capable of playing classical as well as non-classical repertoire. It was the only Wurlitzer installation still in use that has dual identical, but independent consoles.Other large Wurlitzer organs still in their original locations include the Fox Theatres in Saint Louis, Missouri and Detroit, Michigan; Shea's Theater in Buffalo, New York; the Tennessee Theatre in Knoxville, Tennessee; the Alabama Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama; Coleman Theatre in Miami, Oklahoma; the Denver Paramount Theatre in Denver, Colorado, and the Paramount Theater in Cedar Rapids, IA. Smaller instruments in the UK exist in their original installations, such as the Gaumont State Cinema, Kilburn and the Blackpool Tower Ballroom in the UK. These instruments are still being played several times a week. All of the refill sounds included are authentic.. ...details

AudioWarrior's Tron is designed for REASON 3.0 production software.Famous Mellotron Samples in Popular Music The Mellotron has been an indispensable songwriting tool used on countless #1 hits, including:Trent Reznor on "The Downward Spiral" Rush on "Snakes & Arrows" The Red Hot Chili Peppers on "Blood Sugar Sex Magik" The Smashing Pumpkins-various Marilyn Manson on "Antichrist Superstar" The Beatles on "Strawberry Fields Forever" (flutes) Led Zeppelin on "Stairway to Heaven" (flutes) The Moody Blues on "Nights In White Satin" (violins) Genesis on "Dance on a Volcano" (choirs) and "Watcher Of the Skies" Yes on "Heart of the Sunrise & And You And I" (strings) Radiohead on "Exit Music" (choirs) King Crimson on "In the Court of the Crimson King" and "Starless" (three violins)But don't stop there, twist the sounds into trance, dub, metal, or acid mayhem within Reason's arsenal of sick effects for example... ohh… maybe grind the choir up in Scream4Distortion!!!The Mellotron History The hardware version of the Mellotron is an electromechanical polyphonic keyboard musical instrument originally developed and built in Birmingham, England in the early 1960s.The Mellotron follows its direct ancestor-the Chamberlin-which was, in effect, the world's first sample-playback keyboard. The heart of the instrument is a bank of magnetic audio tapes (these tapes were parallel linear, not looped as has sometimes been reported or presumed), each tape with approximately eight seconds of playing time; playback heads underneath each key enables performers to play the pre-recorded sound assigned to that key when pressed. The earlier Mellotron MKI and MKII models contained two side-by-side keyboards: On the right keyboard were 18 selectable "lead/instrument" sounds (such as strings, flutes, and brass instruments). The left keyboard played pre-recorded musical rhythm tracks (in various styles). The tape banks for the later, lighter-weight M400 models contain only 3 selectable sounds such as strings, cello, and the famous eight-voice choir. The sound on each individual tape piece was recorded at the pitch of the key to which it was assigned. To make up for the fewer sounds available, the M400 tapes came in a removable frame, which allowed for relatively quick changes to new racks of sounds. Although tape samplers had been explored in research studios (e.g., Hugh LeCaine's 1955 keyboard-controlled "Special Purpose Tape Recorder," which he used when recording his classic "Dripsody"), the first commercially available keyboard-driven tape instruments were built and sold by California-based Harry Chamberlin from 1948 through the 1970s.Things really took off, however,. ...details

Recorded and programmed for Propellerhead's Reason 3.0 by Greg Giametta.Sampled Hammond B-3 Organ 10 velocity layers The influence of the Hammond organ can be felt everywhere. On any given radio station there's a good chance you'll hear the B-3. The Hammond is used in all types of music, including gospel, blues, jazz, funk, and rock. Keith Emerson used to take his B-3 and throw it around the stage, ride it like a horse, set it on fire, and stab it. Sampled Old Man Grand Piano 10 velocity layers The concept of fashioning a keyboard to an instrument with strings, which vibrated when struck by hammers, was possibly conceived around the 14th to 15th century. For the next 250 years, the harpsichord was plucked, rather than struck. The clavichord was responsive to pressure of finger touch, its strings struck by miniature tangents. After the 1867 Paris Exposition, it was apparent that European craftsmen would have to emulate the characteristics the American grand pianos exhibited. German producers rose to the challenge. The piano's heyday lasted until 1914. The grand and upright pianos were mature instruments by 1870. The next 50 years saw mostly cosmetic modifications to the grand casework. Square legs replaced round, etc. Now you can enjoy 2 exquisite virtual acoustic pianos on your computer.Sampled Quasimoto Cathedral Pipes (wood) 10 velocity layers As one of the oldest instruments still in use, the organ has a long and rich history. The organ dates back to classical antiquity. The earliest organs were hydraulic. The inventor most often credited is Ctesibius of Alexandria, an engineer of the 3rd century BC, who created an instrument called the hydraulis. The hydraulis was common in the Roman Empire, where its immensely loud tone was heard during games and circuses in amphitheaters and processions. Characteristics of this instrument have been inferred from mosaics, paintings, literary references and partial remains, but knowledge of details of its construction remain sparse, and almost nothing is known of the actual music it played. The sound is huge and moving.Sampled Cathedral Pipes (alloy) 10 velocity layers Pipes may be classified in several ways, each of which results in a different timbre: by the material they are made of (wood or metal) by the mechanism of sound production (flue pipes vs. reed pipes, also called labial and lingual) by the shape of the pipe (cylindrical, conical, or irregular) b. ...details
