Bobelock KC10073/4 The CasesBobelock Cases are made the same way that they have for the last 100 years - one by one with attention to detail in every aspect of the creation of each case. We take pride in our cases as they reflect years of dedication and training towards something that our case owners call "dependability". We make better cases because we use the best materials available, we run extensive testing on material durability and we listen to you, the end users, because you are our best researchers. You know what you like, you know what you need and you know who makes it! Thats why people return year after year, instrument after instrument to a Bobelock case. Bobelock cases are made from the finest available materials in our modern factory in the Philippines, under the direct supervision of Mr. Bobelock. Every case we sell carries his name and you can be sure that he stands behind the design and construction of all his products. We know you value your instruments dearly and want the best in protection as well as an admirable presentation, and the time tested materials we use are guaranteed to give you exactly that. Plush velvets, silks and velours, combined with brass and nickel fittings, selected hardwood veneers and tough nylon canvas coverings assure long wear, superb protection and a look you can be proud of. Today Steve runs a "state of the art" small factory employing 50 local case specialists in the area of Bataan. Some of you may remember this name because it was the location of the infamous Bataan Death March in World War II where many American POWs were forced to walk through the jungles and many failed to return home. In their honor and to keep the memory alive, we have named one of our luxury violin cases The Correigador. Unlike much of what you may imagine or have heard about Americans abroad, we feel that there are many benefits that we bring to living and manufacturing our cases in the Philippines. As Steve mentioned above, he had to make the decision of leaving California to continue to manufacture cases. The main reason for this was escalating costs in running a factory in the U.S. Here in the Philippines, Steve was. ...details
