Pinch Harmonics

This is one of the easiest techniques to do, once you've got it "down", but often takes beginners a long time to "get it" at first.

Use of pinch harmonics is especially popular with heavy metal "shred" players, but has long been widely used by blues and country players as well. Roy Buchanan is one blues player who made this technique an integral part of his playing style.
